Last night was crazy, beautiful, amazing...

we all sat on the ground and watched him

enact ‘the rejection and following suicide

of a Starseed girl’... via Shadow-Puppetry.

Sally almost vomited into her own lap

... and I cried so hard that my face

screwed up, like it does when I'm angry,

in front of him... and I didn't care one bit.

He posts on Social Media exactly 3 hours

before he's going to indulge in performance

... and us girls (there are thirteen of us)

rush to whichever part of the city...

his frustrating yet clever clues point to.

His ‘guillotine of a kidnapped caregiver’

was my first ever (in the flesh) experience

... I caught it after watching a YouTube

of his 'several policemen on fire escaping'

... and I have not missed a single one since.

Paul Tristram is a widely published Welsh writer. He yearns to tattoo porcelain bridesmaids instead of digging empty graves for innocence at midnight; this too may pass, yet.
His novel “Crazy Like Emotion” is published by Close To The Bone. Short story collection “Kicking Back Drunk ‘Round The Candletree Graves”, and full-length poetry collections “It Is Big And It Is Clever”, “South Wales Outlaw”, “The Gutter Symposium”, “The Dark Side Of British Poetry”, “Uncivil Disobedience Is My Forte” and “Half A Long Century Of Anarchy, Bedlam, Chaos And Deplorably-Depraved Decadence” are all published by Hunsbury Press.
